What Pylot stores

Pylot stores the information required to run a private job application workspace, such as your profile, job-search preferences, uploaded resume content, workspace activity, and encrypted connection credentials.

Google account and Gmail access

When you connect Google, Pylot uses your Google identity to secure your workspace. If you grant Gmail read-only access, Pylot may read email metadata and message content only to identify job alerts, application confirmations, and verification codes needed for supported workflows.

Pylot does not use Gmail access to send, delete, or modify email.

How data is used

Data is used to personalize your workspace, power approved automation flows, track application progress, and help you review evidence before consequential actions.

Pylot Autofill extension

When you explicitly choose to fill the current job application page, the Pylot Autofill Chrome extension reads visible form labels, available options, the page title and URL, and relevant job-description text. It sends that information only to your configured Pylot API to prepare evidence-backed answers from your private profile.

The extension stores its Pylot connection token in Chrome session storage and clears it when you disconnect. It does not sell extension data, use it for advertising or creditworthiness, execute remote code, collect payment fields, or submit an application without your final review and action.

How data is protected

Pylot stores encrypted credentials and keeps automation and application state scoped to your workspace. Sensitive actions are intended to remain guarded and reviewable.

Third-party services

Pylot may connect to Google and selected employer application systems or job sources when you enable those flows. Each third-party service remains subject to its own terms and privacy practices.
